Inside is almost there!!!

As many of you know after not finding the right house to purchase in the area we decided to remodel the home we have!  Before I go any further I need to thank some people.  Thank you to my husband - you put in a lot of hard work after working a full schedule.  You put up with my moods because of the mess and not being organized!  Thank you - and we are still married and I have a whole new appreciation for you!  To my Dad - thank you for putting in hours and hours of work for our "free labor" we couldn't have done this project with you!  To my mom - thank you for always listening to me vent and helping with painting, projects, and cleaning!  Thank you to my in-laws Dennis and Wanda - your help with the projects, painting, and cleaning!
We now have a lot more space - 3 bedrooms upstairs - a lot more kitchen space, and seperate dining room!
The outside is not done as we are waiting for the spring weather!

Mason Now Eating Baby Food!

Mason is now 4 months old. With this milestone we have slowly began to feed him baby food. We started with rice cereal, then tried apple sauce (he wasn't a big fan of that) and then last night I made our own carrot baby food! He loved the carrots but what a mess!! It is amazing how much he has grown in the 4 months.

Yesterday Mason was two months old. I can't believe how time flies by! Mason loves to stand (with someone holding him)! He can roll over and loves to talk and smile! He now checks out his surroundings and loves to be held so he can see! He is the joy of our lives and we couldn't imagine life without him! Happy 2-month Birthday Mason!!!

Mason Loves Bath Time... NOT!

We give Mason a bath every other day! He doesn't really enjoy it. He hates to be cold, I think that is a lot of it. He usually pees about 2 to 4 times during a bath and it only last at the max 10 mins!

This day our family will never forget.... the day Mason Jeffrey Johnson arrived! After about 12 hours of labor (3 weeks of braxton hicks) and 2.5 hours of pushing he finally arrived!! He weighed 6.3 and had lots of dark black hair! He is the light of our lives!! Welcome to our family Mason!

Has It Been That Long

Wow - it has been since January 15th that I posted on our blog. If anyone is reading probably wondering why I even have one! I will try to keep posting on regular basis.

Our life has changed since January this year. We have found out that we were expecting. After being told that it would be difficult to get this way, we are excited it only took this long!

Pregnancy has been alright for me but I still don't know why a person would think it is amazing and wonderful. The changes that your body goes through along with the racing thoughts in your mind are not what I would call wonderful. I am still not sure how my body is going to "go back to normal" like you read in all of those baby books! But who knows!

We are due on September 24th (this is our second due date, at first it was Sept 9th). The time has gone by fast but with a heat advisory today I don't think that it could go by fast enough! Thank god for air!!
